When you are planning your wedding there are lots of things to consider about the décor. Obviously, it is a very special day, and you want everything to look perfect. But what is your idea of “perfect”? We all have different ideas and aspirations, and what might be perfect for one may not look so great for another.
This is why so many people who are going to get married come to us at Kenza Creations to discuss things such as church wedding decorations and wedding table décor. Our team are, at heart, artists, and so they have a great feel for design and for what goes well with different colours, materials, and so on.
Flowers are very often the central point of a design – and lots of them! So, for example, in a church wedding you might attach a small floral design to the end of each pew on the central aisle down which the bride and her father, or whoever else is giving her away, will walk. You could perhaps have swashes of materials in different colours instead of flowers, or even as well as. You might also be allowed to decorate the pulpit.
Some Limitations
However, there are certain limitations as to how you can decorate a church, depending upon the minister. For instance, you are unlikely to be allowed to have streams of coloured materials descending from the ceiling!
When it comes to the reception, that is a whole different matter because you can decorate the tables, and for that matter the whole room or hall, in almost any way you wish – again bearing in mind any restrictions by the venue owners. But most venues will let you do pretty much what you want.
