One of the most exciting events in any man’s life is the day that he gets down on one knee and produces an engagement ring in a little box and asks the love of his life to marry him. When she says “Yes” that man is as happy as he has ever been.
However, from then onwards, things can become very complicated, for the simple reason that there are now so many things to do. Even if the couple have been living together, as is common nowadays, and so do not need to find a marital home just yet, that is only one item off a very long list of wedding planning.
Just to begin with, you need to decide upon your wedding day. This could be the birthday of one of the couple, or another day that needs to be remembered, or it could be random and just on a day that the chosen wedding and reception venues are available. Sometimes those are the same. If the couple belong to a religion, then the wedding itself will usually take place in the relevant church, mosque, or whatever.

The venue for the reception is important because it is where everything else after the actual ceremony takes place. There are many different types of venues available, from church halls to stately homes up and down the country, and everything else in between.
