You want to subtly persuade those potential buyers that your company is worth investing their money in and that they will get a good return when they do. Much the same applies to an AGM when you want to impress your shareholders.
If you understand the tone and atmosphere that you wish to create, then it will make choosing a theme much easier. Do you want an event that is formal, or perhaps more casual and relaxed? Maybe you want an atmosphere that is lively or perhaps you want to create one that they find intriguing because it makes suggestions or makes them ask questions of themselves – that you can answer in an after-dinner speech for instance.
