One of the most important things to take into consideration when planning your wedding is the photographer.
Just to get one thing out of the way, while your Uncle Ernie may be a dab hand with his iPhone 13 Pro, he is most definitely NOT the person you want to take your wedding photographs! You are only going to have the one wedding day, and you want the memories to be perfect, and that means that you need a professional. You can’t go back and do a re-run tomorrow!
In fact, you don’t even want a professional wedding photographer. You want two professional wedding photographers who work together. Why? Because even a wedding photographer can’t be in two places at once. So, if you have one photographer, say, in the garden taking formal photographs, he or she will miss out on all the other candid shots of things that are going on elsewhere in the venue. When you have two photographers, between them they will capture all of that. Yes, it is an extra expense, but one that is well worth it.
Lighting
You also need to consider the lighting in the venue. Some venues may be large halls or rooms with high ceilings but not great lighting. In this case, you may want to consider adding additional lighting, perhaps to highlight the main table and the wedding reception decorations. In addition, you don’t know what the weather is going to do on the day. Fingers crossed that this doesn’t happen, but it could be overcast and gloomy outside, so this is another reason that you need to consider the lighting – just in case. It all helps to ensure that you get the wedding photographs that you want.
Then of course you have the marriage decoration – the walkway, the table decorations, and so on. You may want to consider working everything around a colour scheme so that it all matches. Then again, you might want huge drapes and drop lights descending from the ceiling, or even streams of flowers. Obviously, you need to keep an eye on your budget, but there are all sorts of things that we can do at Kenza Creations that will look as though you have spent a fortune on them, even though you haven’t!
