Kenza Creations are the leading wedding decorators in London and can produce the wedding venue of your wildest dreams. Our team of creative designers are artisans in every sense of the word. According to Wikipedia, “An artisan is a skilled craft worker who makes or creates things by hand that may be functional or strictly decorative, for example, furniture, decorative arts, sculptures, clothing, jewellery, food items, household items and tools, or even mechanisms such as the handmade clockwork movement of a watchmaker.”
We don’t make any watch movements, nor do we make household items, jewellery, clothing, or food items, but when it comes to the decorative arts and sculptures, we are right up there with the best of them. In fact, we are a step or two ahead, because we don’t just make them, as Wikipedia’s definition suggests, but we create them in the sense that before we touch anything physical, we imagine in our minds the best way to achieve a certain end, and only then do we start to produce it. If you like, we are inventors. We start by creating a new idea, imagining how a certain venue would look if we did this or that, or dreaming up a picture in our minds, in exactly the same way that an artist does, before he takes up his paint brushes. We are artisans, and artists as well.
The difference between us and a Constable or a J M W Turner is that we don’t paint pictures, we create them in the three-dimensional world. This is our passion – creating a thing of beauty. What we create, if it is your wedding, (or birthday, company Christmas dinner, or any other event), is something that only lasts physically for a day, but lasts forever in the mind and in the photos which your guests will take.
Over the years we have produced endless streams of different wedding events, and you can see some of them by looking at our gallery. This may give you some ideas of things that we could include in your own wedding venue, and of course you no doubt have ideas of your own. What we do is sit down with you and discuss your ideas, look at the venue, imagine how we could fit everything in, and then come up with a plan for your approval.
There are lots of things to take into consideration, such as the flowers available at a time of year for instance. So if your wedding is in August but you would like primroses and daffodils that is going to be a little tricky. However, we always have plenty of alternative suggestions, so you can be sure that the wedding we create for you will be as you always dreamed it would be – only better!
