Table Centrepieces Are a Critical Part Of Your Wedding Day

Without a shadow of doubt, one of the most important parts of a wedding is the reception, and one of the most important features of that is the wedding centrepieces. After all, at the reception most people are going to be spending their time eating, drinking, and dancing – not necessarily in that order, but nonetheless incorporating all three.

This is why it is essential that the centrepieces achieve the desired effects. Whether you have individual tables for four or six people or several tables set together to produce long tables, the centrepieces are going to be in between many of the guests.

One of the considerations, therefore, is to ensure that while having a stunning effect, the centrepieces don’t take over the whole day and get in the way of people chatting. So, you have to ensure that while they look amazing, they don’t block conversation, and that can be a tricky thing to achieve.

Consider The Time Of Year

First, it is necessary to decide upon the theme of your wedding. You also need to take into consideration the time of year. Why? Because the majority of centrepieces involve floral arrangements and effects, and ideally you want to use flowers that are in season. This means that they can be sourced locally, rather than having to be flown in from abroad, and so they will cost considerably less than those grown overseas. At Kenza Creations, as long-serving experts in every aspect of wedding design, part of our remit is to keep your costs as low as possible wherever we can because weddings are expensive!

So, for example, if you are holding your wedding in March or April, you could include lots of daffodils. They are always a stunning flower, and there are dozens of different varieties in colours ranging from white through cream to bright yellow, as well as ones with mixed colours.

In June, you might choose roses, cornflower, gladioli, or even hydrangeas or poppies. A bit later, you could go large with sunflowers! When you start thinking about what is available, all sorts of ideas can spring to mind.

Of course, there is no law that says that you have to use flowers. You could choose a mix of cacti, for instance, or something that has nothing to do with plants such as candelabras.

Whatever your ideas, at Kenza Creations we can be relied upon to produce the dream wedding centrepieces for your big day.
