Getting engaged to be married is one of the most exciting things that most people will ever do in their lives. He pops the question, and she says yes! There is an amazing thrill about it that is something you will never forget, whether it took place after a dinner out together, at the local pub with all your mates present, or on the top of the Eiffel Tower.
But when the incredible excitement has died down a little, there is a huge amount of planning to do. Just to begin with, where will you get married? At a church, a synagogue, a mosque, a register office? When will you get married?
And where will you hold the wedding reception for all your family and friends? Is it going to be a big affair, like most Indian weddings are, when just about everybody the couple know is invited, or something more modest? You may have an idea of where you would like the reception to be held, but then it can depend upon what dates the venue is available. You could be lucky with your choice of date, or you may have to change it to fit in.
We Can Produce Any Design That You Wish
Either way, once you have chosen your venue, there is the “small matter” of how you want it to look. In fact, it is most important that it looks like the venue of your dreams on the big day. Some venues may offer to provide decorations for you, but in that case, you have no input. This is why so many couples come to us at Kenza Creations to design their venue decorations for them because we can produce whatever you want, down to the last tiny detail.
A major consideration is the wedding table centrepieces. The possibilities here are literally endless. You can have anything you desire. However, there are a couple of things to take into consideration. For instance, how are you going to lay out the tables and chairs? Are they going to be in long lines or are they going to be tables of four or six dotted around the room?
Then there is the matter of your guests being able to chat over the meal. If you have centrepieces that are too large, they may actually get in the way of people being able to see each other across the table and talk (trust us, it has happened – although not in any of our designs!).
The centrepieces are just one of the parts of the overall design and feeling of the venue, and that is why we always love to sit down and discuss everything with all our couples who are getting married so that their day is nothing short of perfect.
